Become a Mortar Board Alumni

After graduating from college, alumni are encouraged to continue their contributions to Mortar Board, Inc. This dimension is so important that various Alumni Sustaining Membership Programs have been created. Annual memberships to these programs costs $25 per year or $500 for a lifetime membership ($300 if paid within one year of graduation). Benefits of alumni membership include receiving all alumni mailings, a subscription to The Mortar Board Forum magazine, an invitation to the National Conference, and notice of regional Mortar Board events. Portions of the Alumni Sustaining Membership dues go to the National Foundation; Mortar Board,Inc.; and the collegiate or alumni chapter of the member's choice.

 

Other opportunities for alumni of Mortar Board include participation in an existing alumni chapter or starting a chapter if one is not established. Alumni also are encouraged to serve as advisors to local chapters, continue their affiliation with Mortar Board at the national level, and support their college chapter.
